LDG-SUP-A100 Electromagnetic Flow Meter

Short answer

The LDG-SUP-A100 is a full-bore electromagnetic (mag) flow meter for conductive liquids at ≥50 µS/cm, such as water, wastewater, acids, alkalis and slurries. It covers DN10 to DN1000 with ±0.5% of reading accuracy (±0.3% for selected sizes), and outputs 4–20 mA, pulse and RS485, with HART optional.

What it does

A magnetic flow meter measures the voltage a conductive liquid generates as it moves through a magnetic field. Because the measuring tube is an open bore with no obstruction, the meter adds no pressure drop and has nothing to wear out, which is why it is the default choice for water networks, wastewater plants and chemical dosing lines.

The LDG-SUP-A100 is available as an integrated (compact) unit or as a remote version with the converter separated by a 10 m standard cable, for flooded pits, high-vibration pipework or hot process lines.

Frequently asked questions

What is the minimum conductivity for the LDG-SUP-A100?

50 µS/cm. Supmea also offers models down to about 2 µS/cm; check the datasheet for the exact model.

Can the LDG-SUP-A100 measure reverse flow?

Yes. It totalises forward, reverse and net flow separately and exposes all three over RS485.

Which liner should I choose for slurry?

PU or CR rubber liners resist abrasion; PTFE or F46 is preferred for aggressive chemicals and temperatures up to 120 °C.
