SUP-DM2800 Dissolved Oxygen Meter

Short answer

The SUP-DM2800 is a membrane-type (polarographic) dissolved oxygen meter measuring 0–20 mg/L or 0–200% saturation with ±1.5% FS accuracy and 0.01 mg/L resolution. It compensates for temperature with NTC10K or Pt1000 sensors and outputs 4–20 mA, RS485 Modbus RTU and an alarm relay (250 VAC, 3 A).

What it does

Aeration blowers are typically the largest energy user in an activated-sludge plant. Holding dissolved oxygen at the setpoint, rather than over-aerating, is one of the most direct ways to reduce that load while protecting nitrification.

The DM2800 provides the DO signal for blower or valve control loops and integrates with SCADA over Modbus.

Frequently asked questions

What DO setpoint is typical in aeration basins?

Many plants control around 1.5–2.5 mg/L; the right value depends on process design and permit limits.

Membrane or optical DO?

Membrane sensors cost less up front; optical sensors need less maintenance and do not consume oxygen.
